We recommend you prepare the following tools to install a full setup, though you may not require all of these depending on the product you’re installing.Can I install van racking if my van is ply lined?In short…yes! Our shelving is designed to allow room for ply lining on the side walls of your van. Because ply lining is generally fitted post-manufacture, there are instances where you may need to trim it slightly to gain access to the existing van fixing points where the brackets are secured. If in doubt or unsure, feel free to get in contact with our super helpful team who’ll be more than happy to help.Do I need any specific tools to install my shelving?
Do you offer an installation service?bott Smartvan is an online only, self-install product - designed to bolt into the existing mounting points within your van. Full step-by-step install instructions will be provided with your kit. Our friends at Mercedes-Benz in Westchester, Ohio and Oregon Design Co in Portland, Oregon (@oregondesignco on Instagram) are also factory trained on installing bott Smartvan equipment and will install it in any van. If you'd like to learn more about getting equipment installed for you, feel free to give us a call.

How will my van shelving order be delivered?We ship your van shelving on a pallet inside a custom-made box to prevent damage in transit. Because your order is delivered palletized, please ensure there is suitable access to your delivery address for a large delivery truck. Residential addresses and businesses without loading docks will require a smaller truck equipped with a lift gate*.
Small accessory orders will ship via UPS.
*Please note, a $125 lift gate surcharge will apply to all delivery addresses without access to a loading dock or forklift truck.Can I get my delivery sent to a 3rd party?We can deliver to a nominated 3rd party. If you choose this option, be sure to let them know to expect the delivery.Will I be able to pick a date for delivery?We currently do not offer delivery slot options at checkout. If you would like to postpone delivery for any reason, please call us immediately so we can hold the order before it ships. We can hold your order for a maximum of 7 days. While we cannot control the exact delivery schedule, we will provide your freight tracking details. Most freight delivery companies will set delivery appointments for residential addresses where a time window will be provided.Will I need to be available to sign for delivery?Due to the high value and large size of shelving orders, you will need to be available to sign for delivery. Please carefully check over your order before signing, you will need to sign as damaged if there is any.Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada?We do ship to these locations; however, we would have to get a freight quote. If you're interested in our equipment and would like it shipped outside of the contiguous US, we recommend using a 3rd party forwarding service. We can ship the order to their hub within the contiguous US and still apply our conventional shipping prices (free for orders over $2,500). Note: Additional duties and fees will apply to orders shipping to Canada.
